Esta mañana, el intendente Carlos Briner junto a directivos de institutos de nivel superior, tanto públicos como privados, solicitaron por nota al ministro de Educación de la Provincia, Walter Grahovac, dejar sin efecto el Memorándum 03/20 de esa cartera, referido a las inscripciones del nivel superior para el periodo 2021 donde claramente requiere que exista una matrícula definitiva mínima de 30 alumnos. Caso contrario, no existirá posibilidad de apertura de las carreras que podrían verse comprendidas en esa decisión.
En el escrito suscripto en el salón municipal, se dan una serie de argumentos válidos en contra de la medida, citando por ejemplo que esto implica lisa y llanamente cortar la posibilidad que muchos jóvenes puedan acceder a formarse profesionalmente vulnerando los derechos que menciona la Ley de Educación Nacional Nº 26.206 donde se expresa que “la educación y el conocimiento son un bien público y un derecho personal y social, garantizados por el Estado”.
Alicia Geminiani, directora del ISFD Mariano Moreno, sostuvo: “Debemos insistir en nuestro reclamo para la derogación del Memorándum 03/20. En nuestros contactos con nuestra superioridad se confirma la postura adoptada, por lo que nosotros doblegamos esfuerzos en la insistencia de dejar sin efecto dicha norma”.
Agregó que “el Profesorado viene creciendo ya que de ocho carreras pasamos a tener diez, a lo que se suman proyectos presentados para la apertura de otras, con vistas a contar próximamente con un edificio nuevo, por lo que este Memorándum contrarresta todo lo que se viene realizando”, remarcó.
Por su parte, el intendente Carlos Briner agradeció la presencia de los titulares de establecimientos de estudios terciarios quienes se unieron para pedir por la derogación de este Memorándum, el cual, sostuvo el jefe municipal “es contradictorio, porque en un momento en que la Provincia viene desarrollando el crecimiento de parques industriales, va en contraproposición de la necesidad de recursos educativos que van a formar los primeros operarios “.
En ese sentido, recordó que en la actualidad se están construyendo dos establecimientos educativos en la ciudad, el del Profesorado Mariano Moreno y el restante para la Escuela PROA.
Señaló que “la educación es un derecho natural de los docentes a enseñar y de los jóvenes a aprender. Para el municipio, en tanto, es política de estado que la educación no decaiga en las instituciones creadas para ese fin y que al contrario, sigan creciendo para nutrir el Polo Educativo por el que tanto se está trabajando”.
Adelantó que en la reunión de mañana de la Mesa Provincia-Municipios, se abordará el tema, porque “este Memorándum se tiene que derogar. Los directores tienen planificado lo que pretenden para el crecimiento de cada uno de sus establecimientos. Destinamos nuestros esfuerzos para que el modelo educativo vaya de la mano de la producción, del trabajo, unidad de criterios y con el diálogo. Caso contrario, las sociedades se fragmentan”.
